ClearCorrect Timeline What to Expect

Consultation

If you are interested in clear aligners for yourself or your teenager, schedule an appointment with Dr. Kinder at Living Life Dentistry in Knoxville, TN. During this initial consultation, our dentist can examine your smile to determine whether ClearCorrect is the right option for you.

Impressions and Planning

If you and our dentist agree to proceed with ClearCorrect treatment, we will begin by creating an impression of your bite. Dr. Kinder will reference this model as he creates a personalized plan for you. Then, we will send your impressions and our dentist's blueprints to a trusted ClearCorrect lab.

Aligner Creation

ClearCorrect will reference the impressions of your smile and our dentist's treatment plan to fabricate your custom-fitted aligners. This process usually takes a few weeks.

Wearing the Aligners

Once you receive your clear aligners, it will be time to begin your treatment. To experience the best results, you will have to wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day, only removing them when you are cleaning your teeth, eating, or drinking. You will switch to a new set of aligners about every two weeks. Our dentist will schedule periodic checkups at our Knoxville office so he can monitor your progress.
